Squadron Viewing Centres Elate Super Eagles Home Fans

The African Cup of Nations Viewing Centres, initiated by Squadron Dark Rum, were all enlivened with enthusiasm on Wednesday night when the Super Eagles played their last group stage match against Ethiopia.  The various atmospheres were further lightened up with excitement, when the Nigerian team pulled off a late win that created a massive euphoria.

With screams of “goal” on top gear taking over the waves at the Prince of Anthony, one of the main hubs of all the centres, the fans started celebrating before the end of the match, as they demanded with glasses held high, for sampling refills of Squadron Dark Rum, after two goals netted by Victor Moses.

Nollywood superstar, Ricardo Agbor, was at the Prince of Anthony Sports Bar, where he freely, shared football tactics and strategy with other soccer fans that crowded the spacious and exotic sports bar. In his analysis of the match, at half-time, he implored Nigerians to be patient with the Super Eagles and even went ahead to predict, accurately, the final score, before any goal was scored.

“As a patriotic Nigerian, I think, for the very first time, we have a better team, we have more shots at goal and I predict the match will end in two goals in favour of the Super Eagles”, he posited. He expressed gratitude to Squadron Dark Rum for the initiative to televise the matches, which are not being aired on local TV stations.
