Airtel Fetes Customers, Assures on Quality Service

Leading telecoms operator, Airtel Nigeria has reassured consumers on its network of its continuous commitment to delivering world class services that would ensure personal and business growth.

This assurance was made by the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director, Airtel Nigeria, Deepak Srivastava in his opening remarks at a special consumer forum organized by the company for its Corporate Customers tagged “Strengthening the Cords.”

 “The Nigerian telecoms landscape is wearing a new look from how it was when we came in   and we are glad that we are driving these transformations. Our commitment to you is very clear: to stay competitive in a fast-changing telecommunications world and to keep you ahead of the pack through best in-class service delivery that guarantees healthy business, social and economic status. In doing this, we must bring to bear our skills in adapting to change and our ability to innovate,” he explained.

Airtel’s Director of Regulatory affairs, Osondu Nwokoro, who spoke on the forthcoming mobile number portability (MNP), assured on the company’s readiness for the MNP initiative billed to take off in April and which coincidentally, was first championed by Airtel Nigeria. 

He stated that telecoms consumers in Nigeria have a lot to gain by being on the Airtel network as the company has committed enormous resources to building capacity and infrastructure to ensure delightful telecoms experience to customers at all times.

The Airtel corporate customers’ forum provided the company a platform to engage with its customers from the public and organized private sectors on a number of issues associated with integrated communications solutions.

Airtel Nigeria also used the platform to acknowledge and appreciate customers’ loyalty to the brand by providing them with gifts that included top-of-range smart phones and other exotic items.
