SIR ALEX FERGUSON HAS TAKEN UP A LONG TERM TEACHING POSITION WITH HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL AND WILL BECOME A LECTURER THERE FROM MAY THIS YEAR.
THE NEW COURSE CALLED ‘THE BUSINESS OF ENTERTAINMENT, MEDIA AND SPORTS’ WILL SEE FERGUSON PASS ON WHAT HE HAS LEARNT IN 40
YEARS OF MANAGEMENT AND PUTS AN END TO HIS SEVEN MONTH BREAK. THE 72-YEAR-OLD HAD BEEN ENJOYING HIS SABBATICAL AFTER STEPPING DOWN AS MANCHESTER UNITED MANAGER BUT IS CLEARLY READY TO TAKE UP A NEW POST IN HIS RETIREMENT.“I’M DELIGHTED TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY AND PRIVILEGE TO CONTRIBUTE TO SUCH A RESPECTED CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE,” FERGUSON SAID.
