Etisalat Trills Subscribers at 2013 Computer Village Fair and Carnival

It was a day full of fun, thrills and excitement as Nigeria’s most innovative telecommunications network, Etisalat hosted Ikeja community and its subscribers to a day of good music, dance, and amazing freebies at the 2013 Computer Village Fair and Carnival which took place at the popular Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos, to mark the Yuletide season.
Speaking at the event, Director, Business Segment, Etisalat Nigeria, Mr. Lucas Dada, said that The Computer Village Carnival is an SME, youth and mass market focused activation fully sponsored by Etisalat Nigeria to excite and wow the entire Ikeja community, as well as the network’s existing and potential customers. The event, he said, presents the company with an opportunity to identify with the passions of its customers and Nigerians in general in an atmosphere of fun and excitement.

“Our partnership with Ikeja Computer Village is beyond delivering good products and services. This year we have improved our relationship by supporting this fair and carnival. It is also part of our efforts to reward and show loyalty to the community we operate in. As a brand that is always attuned to the needs of its customers, we believe so much in creating value for our customers.” He said.

The carnival which held from December 19 to December 23, 2013, climaxed on December 21, a special day dedicated to Etisalat Nigeria as the Telecom Sponsor of the fair. Young and old, men and women who trooped out en masse on the Etisalat Day where thrilled with music, a raffle draw and a performance by Nigerian hip-hop artist, Sean Tizzle.

Chairman, Ogunbiyi Community Development Area, Lagos, where the Computer Village is located, Mr. Adeniyi Olasoji, commended Etisalat Nigeria, and appreciated the company for accepting to sponsor the carnival in such a big way. His words: “On behalf of this community, I must say that we are very proud of Etisalat’s venture in the country’s telecoms industry. They have been supportive in pushing out great innovations targeted at satisfying the needs of the customers. We thank them a lot and we pray that the company will continue to flourish and grow.”
