The Obvious Reason why Some Ladies Remain Single

Every track of life is occupied by an individual who is endowed with personal desires that suits him or her. The individual could be a child or an adult of either sex, he or she has personal heart desires that will lead to a better life.

The adult male and female are mostly faced with the challenges of life and quest for a life partner rings in their heart.   Most time I have seen, heard and read about single ladies in particular who are eligible to marry but are still solo. I have quizzed myself on why there are lots of adult females who are still single even when the present population of the world is a part fulfillment of Malthusian theory of population which pointed out that “population is growing at a geometric progression”.

It is quite alarming that on daily basis, there is an increasing number of singles who are yet to find the path to fulfill their connubial bliss. It is the dream of every young lady to have a man in her life that she will spend the rest of her life with.

A lot of why questions have crossed my mind on this trend until I came across a piece of meditation from my Vicar’s desk. This piece was published on the bulletin and after reading through, I got a bit of answer the quiz on my head.  

The write up goes thus.

HUSBAND FOR SALE.!!

A Store that sells husband just opened in the FCT Abuja, where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the attributes of men increase as the shopper ascends the floors. There is however, a catch... You may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building. 

So a certain woman went to the store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads;
 
Floor 1: These men have jobs, love the Lord.

The second floor sign reads

Floor 2: These men have jobs, love the Lord and love kids.

The third floor sign reads

Floor 3: These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids and are extremely good looking.

Wow!, she exclaims, but feels compelled to keep going up, she goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads.

Floor 4: These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop-dead good looking and help with the house work. Oh mercy me! she exclaims, I can hardly stand it! Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads.

Floor 5: These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids and are drop-dead gorgeous, help with house work and are romantic.

She was almost tempted to choose from this floor , but decides to go to the sixth floor and the sign reads.

Floor 6: You are a visitor number 4,363,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as a proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the husband’s store. Watch your step as you exit the building and have a nice day.

The key learning for me is that many of the single ladies are just insatiable. They are never pleased with the categories of men they have come across. In fact, I think their choice of life partner is yet unborn and as such, they age away and gradually enter into the awful menopause ‘plus’.

In as much as I am careful not to blame the ladies in the fate, I seriously fault some of the young men who cannot figure out their taste in a lady. They exchange them like they shop for wears. This has landed such guys into the wrong choice of a wife.   

Life itself is full of imperfection that is why there is a broad room for friendship. The essence of friendship is to help each other in our in becoming better individuals, which in turn builds a better society.

However, other reasons abound which we will have to look at in our next write up. But in a nut shell, a good number of single ladies have the problem of satisfaction in the guys that have come their way.  One thing I know is that you can create what you want if it is not already made. It is simple a mutual thing that should run between the duo.  

Let me close by echoing this popular demand quote, “when the desirable is not available, the available becomes the desirable”.

I hereby admonished all singles that area over due that there is not time to wait for the beautiful ones that are not yet born. Since they are not yet born, why not reincarnate that desired beauty and charisma in that guy or lady that your heart beats for? Time is of the essence.
